Antique Book-MONTE CASSINO-ABBEY-LITHOGRAPH-Leroy-Masson-1947
Subject: Antique book, titled: ''Mont-Cassin Cite d''Humanisme Occidental.'' - A work on the history of the monastery and abbey of Monte Cassino. On 15 February 1944 the abbey was almost completely destroyed in a series of heavy American-led air raids. The final plate is a testament to that.
Condition: Very good, given age. Edges of the wrapper a little rubbed. Some small marks and soiling on the cover. Unopened copy. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
