Description: Separately published master print. Our definition of master print is a seperately published print or series of prints, not being an illustrative print to a text. These can both be prints made by old masters (artists) or prints made by others (artists, engravers, etchers) after old masters. No date, ca. 1780. Rare

Artists and Engravers: Engraved by William Darling after Joseph Fratrel. William Darling (active 1771-1799). Darling worked alone until 1791 when he partnered with John Peter Thompson. Together they were active as engravers to the Duke and Duchess of York. His work was used in a book by John Taylor on vases (1773).
