Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Bernard-Romain Julien' after own design. Bernard-Romain Julien (1820-1871) was a French painter, designer and lithographer from Bayonne. Het was a student of Gros. He worked in Paris and exposed at the Salon from 1833-1850. He is particularly known for his published sets of drawing examples.
