A book that, similar to "Gekheydt der Wereldt" describes the typical sins and moral flaws of females.

Contemporary full calf with five raised bands to the spine. Gilt decoration and the title gilt to a spine ticket. Front and rear boards with a rept. Central floral design within a floral roll border, board edges with a gilt roll border.
Cover condition: Very good: corners bumped and rubbed, spine rubbed, spine ends minimally worn, please study image carefully (please be advised, the book is upside-down in the image).
Inside condition: Very good: slight general age-related toning to the paper, some stains in the margins. Printed on quite thin paper..

Biography: Abraham a Sancta Clara (1644-1709) was a Augustinian monk. He joined the order of Discalced Augustinians in 1662.
