Subject: Antique drawing, untitled. Charcoal drawing, untitled. Haystacks near a farm in Laren, among trees and fences; signed in pencil Cornelis Vreedenburgh.
Condition: Very good, given age. Small brown spot in left corner below. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Medium: Charcoal drawing on hand laid paper. Watermark: "De Haesbeek" with crowned circle and hare.

Description: Source unknown, to be determined. Ref: Vreedenburgh made a watercolour called "Larense boerderij" on which the same haystacks can be seen next to the farm, sold bij art dealer Han Vos.

Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after 'Cornelis Vreedenburgh'. Cornelis Vreedenburgh (1880-1946) was a Dutch artist who was a member of the Laren school. Made drawings, watercolours and painting. Member of artist societies: "Arti et Amicitiae" (Amsterdam), "St. Lucas" (Laren) en "Pulchri Studio" (Den Haag). He won several awards. Queen Wilhelmina bought two paintings from him.
