Description: Published by Dewasme Pletinckx in Brussels in 1828. Provenance: L. A. de Vries (not in Lugt).

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Eugene Verboekhoven' after an anonymous artist. Eugene Verboeckhoven (1798-1881) specialised in the depiction of cattle and other animals. He is seen as the most important Romantic artist of Belgium. In his early career he made several lithographs.
