Subject: Antique print, titled: ''Plan ter bestrijding van den veetyphus in zuid-Holland en Utrecht in augustus 1866.'' - Plan for dealing with the spreading cattle typhus (or plague) in south Holland and Utrecht in August 1866. The plan recognises three classes: places where the sickness will be allowed to run it''s course; places where ill and in some cases suspect cattle will be slaughtered; places where all sick and suspect cattle must be slaughtered.
Condition: Excellent, given age. Original folds as issued. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Medium: Lithograph on wove (vellin) paper.
