Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Cornelis van Dalen?' after 'Adriaen van de Venne'.  Cornelis van Dalen II (1638-1664) worked in Amsterdam. Abraham Blooteling was a pupil of him.  Adriaen Pietersz van de Venne (1589-1662), was a reknown Dutch painter of allegories, genre subjects and portraits, as well as a miniaturist and designer of political satires, book illustrations and a versifier.
