Condition: Good. General age-related toning. Scattered light foxing and some brown spots, mainly outside the image. Please study scan carefully.

Deuxi�me volume: Cabinets de travail - Bibliotheque - Acces et dependances - Salles de concert - Magasins - Details divers et paralleles' by M. Cesar Daly. Published in Paris by Librairie Generale de l'Architecture et des travaux Publics - Ducher & Cie, 1877. This work is considered one of Daly's most important publications [see: STURGIS Vol. I, pp. 733-744]. The lithographs are very detailed and delicately well done.

Artists and Engravers: Cesar Daly (1811 - 1894), French architect. Daly's actual professional practice was mainly confined to the restoration of the cathedral of Alby at Tarn. In 1839 he founded the 'Revue generale de l'architecture'. He also spent three years in the Americas, and in 1856 was the first to note several important pre-Columbian ruins. This plate by Spiegel.
