Subject: Antique print, titled: ''Mediterranean Sea Egypt - Damiette to Elarish […].'' - A sea chart of the coast of North Africa, from Damiette to El Arish. This region includes Port Said. With detailed depth soundings along the coast, and two compass roses.
Condition: Very good, given age. Original middle fold, as issued. Offsetting where the map was folded on itself. A tear in the lower middle fold, slightly into the image area (closed with acid-free archival tape). Some foxing in the lower margin, a few damp (or oil) stains in the margins and image edge. Some creases in the top margin. A few closed small tears in the left and right margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Medium: Engraving on wove paper.
