Subject: Antique print, titled: 'Schip van Brandane.' - (Brendan's Ship - illustration to the Navigatio Sancti Brendani). The ship of Saint Brendan grows from reed stalks. Brendan and his followers are on board, while a number of travellers approach from the right.
Condition: Excellent, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Michael Jepkes' after own design. Michael Jepkes (Amsterdam 1938-) is a Dutch painter, graphic artist and draughtsman. He studied with Joseph Verheyen, Henk Koekkoek and Maarten Krabbe, at the Instituut Hendriks (Haarlem) and the Academie (Tilburg). Besides painting and drawing, he works in drypoint, colour etching and mezzotint. While his work is mainly figurative, he manipulates reality. His work is usually made as part of a series.
