Schreiber, c. 1878. These plates were intended for 'Anschauungsunterricht fur die Jugend in Schulen und Familien.' (translation: Visual learning for youth in schools and families.)

Artists and Engravers: Gotthilf Heinrich von Schubert (1780-1860) was a German physician and naturalist.
