Subject: Plate 37: 'Theodora trekt de soldaats kleederen van Didymus, en hy de haare aan, waardoor haar eere gered wordt' (Theodora dressing in Didymus' soldier's costume, and he in her clothes, to save her honour).
Condition: Very good, given age. Lower left corner a little stained, bottom margin cropped quite tight. Original middle fold. Some general age-related toning and thumbing, please study scan carefully.

This book was published in 1740 in Amsterdam by Gerrity de Groot and Jacobus Rijkhof. The prints by Luyken are accompanied by texts by P. Langendyk and C. Bruyn.
