Artists and Engravers: Levin Schï¿½cking (1814 - 1883) was a German novelist. He was born near Meppen, Kingdom of Prussia, and died in Bad Pyrmont, German Empire. He was the uncle of Levin Ludwig Schï¿½cking. Ferdinand Freiligrath (1810 - 1876) was a German poet, translator and liberal agitator. This plate by Carl Mayer's Kunst Anstalt after C. Schlickum.
