Artists and Engravers: Signed Henri le Riche. Henri Le Riche (Grenoble 1868- 1944) was a French painter, sculptor, designer and illustrator. He studied under William Bouguereau and Tony Robert-Fleury. He illustrated the book Thi-Ba by Jean d'Esme. He won the Prix de Rome in 1888, exposed at the Salon of French artists and was named a member of the Academie des Beaux-Arts in 1935. Hirne was his pseudonym on certain sculptures.
