Subject: Antique print, untitled. A seasonal greeting card from Redbone Binderij (Redbone Book Binder) from Amsterdam. The card features an abstract composition in wood engraving. On the inside Natasha Herman (the book binder) wrote a manuscript seasonal greeting. An inlaid note mentions the binder's pregnancy and apologises for any delays. With the original string that bound it, and a small strip of red paper identifying the artist. The wood engraving is tipped onto the card, which is protected by a thin sheet, bound to the card with a simple stitch.

Condition: Excellent, given age. Original fold, as issued. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Peter Lazarov' after own design. Peter Lazarov (born 1958) is a Bulgarian/Dutch artist and printmaker. Peter Lazarov is one of the very few living artists within the official collection of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, as well as Museum Meermanno-Westreenianum; Museum of fine arts, Okinawa; National Library of Congress, USA; Yale University, USA and University of British Columbia, Vancouver Canada. In October 2008, Lazarov was elected as among the 10 best artists printmakers in the world during World Graphic Exhibition in Beijing, China. It was the first time such an honour was bestowed upon a Bulgarian artist.
